Charlie Maddens Bar

“Charlie Maddens Bar” is a family run Business in the heart of Timoleague which has been in the Madden family since 1974, present owners are Simon and Sheila Walton.

The traditional-style bar, with its renowned open fire, serves food every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all year round. It is open seven days a week during the Summer: Monday through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m.

The Bar hosts a very popular traditional music session every Thursday evening with musicians welcome to join in and live music is also provided on Saturday nights throughout the year.

At the rear of the bar is our hidden gem, a large spacious beer garden consisting of a covered area and an open area to compliment beautiful sunshine when we get it.
All televised sports events are shown on our four screens, including sky sports.
